Pupil Premium

Central government gives funding for schools to support pupils from deprived backgrounds. This funding is called the 'Pupil Premium'. It is designed to close the gap in learning and achievement for those children from less advantaged backgrounds. At St Elizabeth, we are committed to ensuring excellence for all pupils. This year, our pupil premium is being used in the following ways:

  • Numbers Count - supporting early mathematical skills acquisition
  • Support for access to extra curricular activities
  • Booster classes in English and Mathematics
  • Musical instrument tuition

Directions:
From Bethnal Green Tube Station [Central Line - 10 minute walk]. At the top of the escalator take the exit to your right. At the top of the stairs walk straight down the road, small park and The Museum of Childhood will be on your right. Take the first turning right. [ Old Ford Road.] Walk down Old Ford Road about 300 metres and take the first major turning on your left, just past a zebra crossing. [Approach Road].

Walk straight down Approach Rd. past the Approach Tavern, which is on your left, [avoid the temptation to go in it!] up to the mini-roundabout. At the mini-roundabout turn left. [Bonner Road]. The school is immediately facing you on the other side of the road. Enter through the car park and you will see the main entrance. Notify Reception that you have arrived.

From Cambridge Heath Station [British Rail] or Cambridge Heath Road [Bus - 5 minute walk]. Cross over the main road and walk straight down Bishops Way, which faces the station. About 600 metres down turn right into Bonner Road. The school is a short way down on your lefthandside.
