St. Elizabeth Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Please follow this link to access our Safeguarding and Child Protection Procedures.
Central government gives funding for schools to support pupils from deprived backgrounds. This funding is called the 'Pupil Premium'. It is designed to close the gap in learning and achievement for those children from less advantaged backgrounds. At St Elizabeth, we are committed to ensuring excellence for all pupils. This year, our pupil premium is being used in the following ways:
|The School Day|
Children should arrive at school between 8:45am and 9am as supervision of the playground will be provided at this time. If your child is in the Breakfast Club, s/he may arrive between 7.45am and 8.30am. The entrance to the school is in Bonner Road. Parents may come onto the playground facing the Bonner Road entrance but not into the school building, unless they have business at Reception or an appointment with a member of staff, this is for security reasons.
From 8.45am junior children will be allowed through onto their playground, where they will be supervised by a teacher. On wet or icy mornings, the children are taken into their respective halls from 8.45am and supervised. The school day starts at 9.00am when the bell is rung. All children are expected to be on their respective playground at this time.
The school has a strict policy on lateness and punctuality. See the relevant page on this site.
Total weekly teaching time excluding registration, acts of worship and break times: Key Stage 1: 22hrs & Key Stage 2: 23hrs 55 minutes.
